Though small hands don’t make
the best helpers, they sure spruce
up weekend breakfast.
And though small feet lag
slowly on walks, they always
find the adventure:
on the wet slide and
the dirt mound. In the ant hill
and the old swing set.
Our big people plans
are best laid, but just no fun.

The P Family is near and dear to my heart. They were one of the first families who trusted me when I shifted from doing traditional family portraits to doing documentary family photography. They were IN from the time I explained what I was doing. They let me tag along for a whole week after I launched my longer sessions. I saw them every day for seven days!
They have invited me into their home over and over again, allowing me to do my thing and being entirely open to the whole experience. I am so grateful to them for not just trusting me, but giving me the confidence to keep pursuing this type of photography.
Oh, and fun fact! Jenny is the newest member of the Green Chair Stories team. After spending so much time with her over the years, I knew she would be so perfect as a copywriter for my clients. She has written SO much: novels, marketing copy, you name it. I feel so lucky to know her and have her as part of my crew!
