The Manns…In beautiful Evergreen!

I had the privilege of meeting the Manns through my friends Henry and Mary. I use the word “meeting” loosely because I didn’t actually meet them until our photo shoot! They were so brave to trust me with their family photos and I’m so incredibly happy they did.

It took the kids a little while to warm up, but Luke and Kim were so relaxed that I knew we would get some great images the minute I started clicking. The kids did eventually warm up, after snacks and lots of smiles from the crazy lady with the camera. 

We had so much fun! They picked a beautiful park in Evergreen, CO. The light was golden, the  leaves were already changing and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was the perfect evening. 

There was such a sweet, unscripted moment: Their oldest boy, Baden, found a little patch of wild flowers in the field where we were shooting. He ran over and said, “Rachel, I’m going to pick some of these for my mom.” And he bent down to gather some and then hid them behind his back until he got to her. Right there, I knew these two were raising some amazing kids.
