Here, you'll find really cute photos of families, some links to my favorite things, and just some general musings about life.
Some rough and tumble
But also some soft sweetness
Boys hold multitudes.
But what would life be?
If kids were only allowed
one identity?
If we give them room
to question, grow, and change,
we gift the world breath.
My husband (very innocently) asked me the other day how my contentment journey was going. Through gritted teeth, I explained to him that I gave myself a little break from all things self-improvement so I could focus on growing a baby and not puking every day. In all fairness, his question was relevant to our conversation and so genuine. But in my defense, I have been very, very sick.
Though small hands don’t make
the best helpers, they sure spruce
up weekend breakfast.
And though small feet lag
slowly on walks, they always
find the adventure:
I’ve had the privilege of photographing this awesome family several times over the past few years. And each time, they somehow get a little bit sweeter, a little bit sassier, and a whole lot more fun.
I’ve said this a thousand times this month, but I hate the word “launch” when it comes to business. I’m not going to space. I just got a new website and created a product. That said, it feels as though I might be going to space with how much this is stressing me out. But I’ve drawn a lot of parallels between launching this thing and the rest of my life.
The C. Family and I go way back. Like, Cassie-and-I-played-soccer-together-in-college way back. And then she moved to Colorado (yay!)
These are my favorite kid-friendly restaurants in Denver. They have perfect menus and accommodations for your hellions and good-enough-to-be-worth-it food for you.
